This is a place devoted to giving you deeper insight into the news, trends, people and technology behind Bing.
I've been using Bing for about a month, and it still doesn't give me the results I want. I still find myself going back to Yahoo and Google to check relevancy and get better results. My own pages still rank better in Google than Bing. Bing suffers from a host of problems. Sites not being found. When they are found, they are not fully indexed. Mislabeled images and videos. Irrelevant results. What Bing's engineers should have done was make Bing really work before releasing it to users. These engineers should have made an algorithm like Google's PageRank (you can find info about the algorithm all over the web). They should make some sort of mechanism to improve the identification of images (sort of like that Google image labeling program, etc.) But it seems that nobody at Bing is listening to the frustrated users; Bing's engineers have their head in the sand.
I see on Alexa that Bing has been losing market search percent over the past month (since early June 2009); Yahoo is also declining. Only Google is gaining. And no wonder, Google is doing it right.
Yes, I know that Bing is Not Google, and that is exactly the point.

Actually you can find assumptions and guesses about PR all over the web.

Alexia gathers its data from those useing the addon, so its mainly techy types who use it. The average user on the web wont even know what an addon is. Bing has increased its market share by almsot 100% (well from 1 to 2%) Im not saying that Bing is a big player, but that the facts do not agree with you.

Brett Yount I hear everyone here. All I can say is that a lot of these issues will be going away in the next release. I can't go into what these changes are right now, but there has been a lot of development on the backend. ~B

Is the next release for the US or for the UK?

I recommend you to just wait and watch..how the Bing grows. it is amazing when it comes to image search..unique results...
Bing gives the most relevant results. Google had more results, but most of them probably have no relations to what you were looking for.
I know that Bing is doing all it can to provide great service to its users, for now google is still number one, but it may change in no time.

For me Bing can be in line with google and yahoo and I don't see any problem with Bing though.
