To orient any of the newcomers: this site uses Windows Live ID to sign you in - if you already have a Windows Live Space, a Windows Mail (formerly hotmail) account, or an Xbox LIVE account, you already have a Windows Live ID you can use to sign in. Note on profiles: Because this site uses Windows Live ID, the "password" section of your profile no longer has any effect. The way you will sign in is using your Windows Live ID and the password for that. We apologize but we were unable to move msdn forum users profiles to the Bing community. Your msdn forums identity will remain intact over there, but the Bing profile here is completely new.

After you create your profile, feel free to comment on blogs, post in the forums, and connect with new folks interested in the same search topics you are. Some blogs require you to be signed-in to comment, others do not. The forums always require you to be signed in with an active profile.
