Liz Tassey Gerber - A Microsoft veteran since 2003, Liz Tassey Gerber heads up the Bing Cause Marketing team. She is the granddaughter of two high school teachers, and recently became a new mom with the birth of her daughter, Olivia, in March 2010. Liz brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role, and inspires those around her with her steady guidance and good-natured humor. Barbara Blanchard - Barb has been with Microsoft for many years, and has been with the Bing Cause Marketing team since its inception. Since she loves creating new ways to give away Bing's money to help give kids a great education, Barb is in charge of all campaigns, most recently the Our School Needs contest. She's also a mother of four, and a strong advocate for education. Barb went to college at Central Washington University, and has lived in Seattle for pretty much all of her life. Kat Smith - As the social media and online lead for Bing Education, Kat Smith oversees the day-to-day operations of all the team's online properties. She's worked on numerous campaigns all across Microsoft, and loves making one-to-one connections with people that are also passionate about education. Nick Sherrill - Nick is the newest member of the team, and heads up the all-up community efforts for Bing Education. A native of Pacific Northwest, Nick majored in history at the University of Oregon, but immediately gravitated towards a career in communications after graduation. He spent three years with Waggener Edstrom and then another year leading the online & social media program of Pyramid Brewery.
