Powerset is known for harboring a small army of wicked-smart PhDs and engineers who are creating the next generation of search and discovery tools. But, we’re not just a bunch of geeks. We also know how to party. Last Thursday, May 15th 2008, Powerset hosted Club Powerset at The Mighty in San Francisco to celebrate the launch of Powerset.com. Decorated to the nines, Club Powerset attracted friends, family, employees, alumni, investors, press, board members, employees from other semantic web companies, performance artists, Zivity girls, and a few random people off the street. All flocked to celebrate Powerset’s important milestone. Below are some pictures from Club Powerset.    Club Powerset Linda Chan   Club Powerset Powerset Launch Party The party continued into the night, with excellent lighting, sparkly necklaces, free-flowing Powershots, and (generally) well-mannered frivolity. Big thanks to Mighty for the venue, La Bonne Cuisine for providing us with amazing food, Zivity for providing us with girls to pass out goods, and everyone who came out to celebrate with us.
