Today we released an update to the Bing for mobile browser at m.bing.com. In addition to being a great resource for local searches, quick answers, and maps, we have some new features to tell you about:

NFL feature – type a team or player and see upcoming games, stats, and scores. While the game is on, you can get real-time updates on the plays. (U.S. only)

Flight status – enter the airline and flight number and get the latest departure and landing times.

Bing for touch devices

Great news for you touch phone owners in the U.S.: we have a new version of Bing just for high-resolution touch devices. We optimized for touch navigation to make the most of your phone, and added a great new Movies feature. Search for Movies in your city, and you’ll see the movies playing nearby, showtimes, overviews, and even trailers and video clips.

You can get to this version by going to m.bing.com with your iPhone, Zune HD, T-Mobile G1, Verizon Imagio, or Samsung Omnia. We’ll be adding support for new devices over the next couple of months.

Try Bing today at m.bing.com

  • Wow! Yet more "US-only" services from Bing! Who'd have guessed it!!! (Heavy sarcasm intended).

Why do you continually disregard the rest of the world? Why do we matter so little to the Bing team?

  • love the apps guys but have to agree we love bing in the UK too !

  • @jamiet --

It’s available in 31 countries for just about any phone with an internet connection.

Is this not true? Bummer if it's not.

  • I like the Bing interface much better on my Zune HD than on Opera Browser on my HTC Touch Diamond.

How can I get the Zune interfacew on my phone?

  • you need to modify the search box border on iPhone.....it is almost white in color so not visbile properly. just go to m.bing.com on iphone and you will know what I mean.

  • This is silly. Why is the touch site device specific? Why not just give us a url to visit with our device running mobile IE or Opera Mobile, and let us decide if we can handle it? Facebook has both m.facebook.com and touch.facebook.com, a good approach.

HTC is Microsoft's biggest supplier of high-resolution touch devices for Windows Mobile, what's the holdup in supporting their devices?

  • "Flight status – enter the airline and flight number and get the latest departure and landing times. "

    that's cool.

    but... US-only :(

  • Poor stuff. See this review:

    ananddhingra.com/mobile-bing-on-iphone-fails-to-deliver

  • all good, but could we have an app please?? or atleast get to see the cool homepage pic....

  • Bing is very good but please expand to other countries

  • Nice!

  • I have to agree with some of the commenters above. It's very annoying seeing all these great features while us folk in the UK (and the rest of the world) are still waiting to see them.

Bing is excellent and I use it all the time, but I would like to see it come out of beta so we can get access to the great services currently only available in the US!

  • If you'd prefer an app for the iPhone, try bingGo - Bing™ Mobile Search Client.

  • You mention, "It’s available in 31 countries"

Is there a list of which countries are included?

  • go bing go.
