They will go on to compete in the Bing National Tailgate Championship outside Dallas/Fort Worth on February, 3 rd . The search continues. Over the next few months we will be holding regional events at the following stadiums. If you’re in the area, come check us out! Denver’s Invesco Mile High Stadium – November 14th at 11:30 am New York/New Jersey’s New Meadowlands Stadium – November 21st at 10:30 am University of Phoenix Stadium – December 5th at 11:30 am New Orleans’ Louisiana Superdome – December 12th at 12:30 pm Seattle’s Qwest Field – December 19th at 10:30 am Dallas/Fort Worth’s Sundance Square (Finals) – February 3rd And if you can’t make it to the parking lot, check out www.bingfootball.com to discover how... Explore the Bing homepage

Bing always strives to bring you more, and our homepage is no exception. We offer a new image every day to help you explore the world around you. The homepage loads in stages so that the image never gets in the way of your ability to search. Ever wanted to know more about the pictures? If you have a little time to spend and want to explore the day’s image, point your mouse around it until you find a hotspot: Hidden in the image, hotspots are intended to intrigue and inform you. If you look, you’ll find four of them every day. Each gives you a chance to find out more about the subject of the image. Want just the facts? If you just want to know where the picture was taken, point to the copyright symbol to see a brief caption about the image, as well as the photographer’s name and agency. Did you miss one? If you missed a day or just want to see it again, click the arrows at the bottom right of the screen to scroll through the past seven days of homepages. You can interact with each page just as you could when it originally appeared. And to go back even farther, check out the Bing homepage Visual Search gallery . Make Bing your default homepage... Windows Live + Bing Cloud photo contest...

In the past, we’ve held Bing photo contests to showcase the talent of our Bing enthusiasts on the Bing homepage . Earlier this month, we teamed with Windows Live to help celebrate how Windows Live Essentials connects the PC to the cloud. The contest asked participants to submit photos of clouds which would be featured on the Bing homepage and featured in a Windows Theme Pack. We’re pleased to announce that Somana Konganda -who captured the majesty of Mt. Rainier from 10,000 feet- is the winner. To see the photo go to www.bing.com and to download the theme pack click here. Congrats Somana! - The Bing Team In the past, we’ve held Bing photo contests to showcase the talent of our Bing enthusiasts on the Bing homepage . Yes tailgating – the party in the parking lot! I have traveled all over this great land and have been in parking lots in every corner of the country. The best part of my job as Commish is that they feed me! Tailgaters of every team bring out their best to make sure everyone has a good time and plenty to eat. Bing’s new social search features arrive...

Today we are completing our deployment of our new social features that we built in partnership with Facebook. We’re really excited to get these features in the hands of all our US users. As with all the work we do at Bing, we have been focused on user feedback in an effort to make sure the features are really useful to customers, and we have made a couple of changes to the product that we want to make people aware of. Early users told us that they expected the same access to their friends inside Bing as they already have inside Facebook. This surfaced as some dissatisfaction with the way the features were working, specifically people were disappointed when they did not see their friends show up in their searches. So we looked for a way to respect the sharing intent you have with your friends inside Facebook, and use that to deliver a similarly powerful experience inside Bing. This led the teams at both companies to do a couple of things: Assuming you have selected to share information with your friends inside Facebook, you will show up in profile searches in Bing, even if you have selected not to have profile information show up in public search engines.
