Bing bringing #kittehblood and more to Austin for EPIC SXSW WIN

The Bing team is excited to make our annual pilgrimage to the tech mecca that is SXSW Interactive in Austin, Texas.  Harnessing the beehive of community love floating about in the air of 6th Street and beyond, Bing has plenty of activities planned.  To all the geek rockstars descending upon awesome Austin, we hope you can join us.  Here’s the list of our activities.

Like Bing, I Can Has Cheezburger is all about discovering the gems of the web.  I know, Bing is not as funny or cute but hey, the web is vast and there’s plenty of diamonds to unearth whether it’s studying up on Austin before hitting SXSW or getting office snarked by a kitteh.  This is why Bing is proud to partner with the Cheezburger Network to bring you “The INTERNET is SERIOUS BUSINESS” SXSW party.  For all of you who graciously signed up, looking forward to landing EPIC WINS on the night of 3/12!  To follow the action, hashtag #seriousbiz.

Bonus alert!  The first 250 party guests who check in to Facebook Places (The Internet is Serious Business Party) can redeem a Deal from Bing!  Also, be sure to check in at Foursquare and Gowalla under the same party name.

  • Bing Demo Booth in SXSW Trade Show Hall (March 13-17@11AM–6PM): Grab a plateful of Bing demo with a side of sweet swag.
  • Street-team hoodie “Bing it forward” giveaway
  • Bing breakfast with influentials we meet at SXSW
  • Bing street team video demoing product features and capturing the excitement
  • Loopt@SXSW Bing swag giveaway (Sunday March 13th 8:45am-9:45am). Get the app for details.

For the latest SXSW happenings from Bing, be sure to follow us (@bing)

Also, in case you haven’t heard yet, our friends at IE9 will be making a splash at SXSW on March 14 by releasing Internet Explorer 9!  If you’re at SXSW, track the cool activities they have in store by following them on Twitter (@ie).

Looking forward to meeting you in Austin!
