    “TwavelTwivia” Twitter Sweepstakes

Calling all travel aficionados! We thought there’d be no better way to celebrate the launch of Bing Travel and to stimulate both the travel industry and you, our loyal fans, than to give away airlines and hotel gift cards. Kicking off on June 3, @fareologist will be hosting the 1st ever Bing Travel “TwavelTwivia” Twitter Sweepstakes, and providing winners* with some amazing prizes while testing their travel knowledge. Prizes include $500 gift cards to Alaska Airlines, USAirways, JetBlue Airways, Marriott Hotels, Ritz Carlton Hotels & Resort, and Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts. Beginning June 3, we will be tweeting two travel focused trivia questions each day at random times until June 10 – that’s 16 chances to win! Each tweet will be marked with #TwavelTwivia so you can easily search for and find our tweets and connect with us and others that have a passion for travel. Since Bing is a new resource to help you make decisions faster, all the answers to our questions can easily be found using Bing.com , and specifically, Bing Travel. The answers may be hidden within a Bing Travel blog post or article, or can be discovered through Bing Travel’s... Read More Calling all travel aficionados! Announcing Bing Travel! by Hugh Crean

We're very excited to share the launch of Bing Travel, which is part of Microsoft’s new search service, located at Bing.com. Bing will be available to the world in the coming days. As part of this new, enhanced search engine, we’ve combined our robust technology from Farecast with great content from MSN Travel to create Bing Travel. What's Bing Travel all about? It's a faster way to make more informed travel decisions. Built into Bing are intelligent tools that will quickly and more efficiently help you find what you're searching for so you can make better choices. For example, our comparison shopping service helps you browse hundreds of flights and hotels from airlines and suppliers for destinations worldwide. Our planning tools help you decide when and where to travel. Our price predictor tells you, with high degrees of confidence, when it’s the right time to buy airline tickets. Our hotel rate indicator helps you know you’re getting a great deal on a place to stay. And, if you’re wondering “what about Farecast?” and “what about flight predictions and flexible travel tools?” then we have good news: All of the features...
