This is a place devoted to giving you deeper insight into the news, trends, people and technology behind Bing.
I’ve lived on both coasts and in the Midwest, and one of the things I’ve made sure to do everyplace is check out the local institutes of higher learning. The schools that I’ve found the most memorable are the ones that, due to the campus or the surroundings or both, have left me thinking: How could you study in a beautiful place like this?
That’s the theme of Bing Travel’s latest slide show. Here we present 19 of the nation’s most scenic, stunning colleges and universities — places such as California’s Pepperdine University, perched right next to the ocean; New York City’s Wagner College, where even the dorm rooms offer a view of the Manhattan skyline; South Carolina’s Furman University, which has been called “The Country Club of the South”; and the University of Hawaii at Manoa, which is, well, in Hawaii.
I’ve noticed during my travels that if there’s one thing that gets people riled up and talking, it’s a discussion of different colleges and their relative merits. Here’s your chance to weigh in on the schools in this slide show: Do you agree or disagree with our choices, and why? Which schools do you think are the most scenic, and which ones do you think we left off our list? Share your thoughts in the comments section. Rah rah rah!
