This is a place devoted to giving you deeper insight
into the news, trends, people and technology behind Bing.
I already have my webblog for more than one year and I saw something very interesting:
I never tried to do some SEO for Bing, I did it only for Google.
Each time my site rank position changed in Google, was followed -with 3-4 weeks delay - by Bing. The up and down were very similar in both search engines.
Even the rank position were very closed (example Google 5-th, Bing 4-th).
So, as my title says:
SEO for Bing - is really worth the effort?
SEO for all search engines are quite similar: all SEs like to see fresh/unique content and quality backlinks:
And yes, there are some differences: like Bing gives more importance to the title tag, age of site etc: but overall, if you create a good site, it may rank high in all SEs:
I also have noticed lot of sites with similar ranking in both Google and Bing:
Optimization rules are basically the same. You would not have to do something extra for getting good ranks in Bing. If you optimize your website for Google and even for Yahoo, it will automatically get better ranking in Bing.
SEO for bing it is not something different because if you are working for your website in other search engines then you will get ranking in bing also for this you not do something special for it and but if your keyword good ranking in google it is not possible that you will good ranking in bing also. but both search engines notice unique content and good backlinks.
Gabriel You need to have one thing in mind. Every search engine's algorithm is more overless is same.
But the period may be differs. Google will take 3 month to rank a new site, but bing may take even more that. That depends on how well you optimize your site and how you work on backlinks.
I also not worked for bing. But as i work on optimization on Google, my keywords are also ranking in bing automatically.
