I have added two sites to Bing Webmaster Center and have verified both. I have also added two users and verified both.
When attempting to work with both of my sites, http://lexingtondevelopment.com and http://intelligentuspolitics.com it doesn't matter which, I receive the below error message for each and every function I attempt to execute (ie submit sitemap).
Is this still happening? Please try removing and re-adding the websites from Bing Webmaster Tools and see if it works for you.
I'm having same problem. Did above said suggestion worked? Is there any other way to fix this error?
I'm still having the problem as well. I went as far as deleting my entire Bing Webmaster account and all of the included sites, then started over. To no avail.
One of my sites had 167,000 page views last month, but Bing can't get it together. The site has 4,000 pages in the Google index, only 16 pages in Bing. It's like some horrible joke.
Yes, this is still happening. I have removed every site. I have removed myself and then started over. Nothing matters. BING Webmaster Tools doesn't work.
same here...I have two sites on bing but can't do anything. keep getting this error message
"It appears that you are not authorized to work with this site." also when submitted the sitemap on yahoo its waiting forever for microsoft to process
It appears that we may have to dig deeper into this, please submit a support request at: support.discoverbing.com/default.aspx
Same prooblem with my site tooo.......This bing webmaster looks bad..:(
Same problem here. Verified domain, unable to add a site to block
"It appears that you are not authorized to work with this site."
This is why I prefer Google Webmaster Tools.
Ditto. You are not authorized to work with this site. Wish there was a solution as I own the site.
I have this problem with one of the sites I manage, but it doesn't apply to all functions in Webmaster Tools or all sites. I can submit sitemaps and URLs and suchlike. It's only when I try to use the "Block URLs" tool I get the message: "It appears that you are not authorized to work with this site".
It works on other sites I manage, and has worked in the past with this one, but not any more.
Is anything being done about this problem?
I'm trying to get old pages which I have removed out of the index, but they seem to stay there for months.
