Good Day. I work with a major portal website that hosts ~12,000 mini-sites. Today we discovered that all 12,000 of our search results were being flagged with the Warning: Dangerous Downloads message in the Yahoo search engine. We have a huge business risk and need to find a better way to expedite this issue than using the Yahoo form provided. I have tried calling Yahoo to no avail. Has anyone had experience with direct contact to Bing for assistance? Is there anything I can do to speed this up? Also for those who have had this problem in the past, can Bing or Yahoo provide a detailed report for what the issue was that causes this warning message to display?
I recommend that you submit a support request to further look into your concern. Please keep in mind that re-malware evaluation requests take 3-6 weeks to finalize our review and create a new reputation ranking of the page/site.
We have submitted a ticket for this (SRX1160079599ID) and have seen no response since Thursday. It takes a lot to frustrate me, but implementing a feature on your website that damages reputation and then gives you no insight into the problem nor a quick way to fix it is pretty insane. I really hope this can be resolved soon.
