I recently did a 301 from my old domain www.a d r h i.com to new domain re haw aii.com
I was #1 for many terms before now I am gone. I didn't have a problem on google with the re-direct.
Will Msn pick this up and put my site back where it was?
As far as I know MSN gives more importance to 302, and they suggest doing a 302 than a 301. Unfortunately they can not handle the 301s. This is the case 6 months ago. some on from MSN should clarify this.

It should not cause too many problems. I see that we have 259 pages indexed, but I also see we have 9k+ pages indexed for your old site. It usually takes a few crawls for everything to even out. This is by design to ensure that what you did (redirecting domains) is what you wanted to do and wasn't a temporary redirect.

Krishna,
The 301 issues were fixed several months ago. This is a simple 301 from old domain to new domain and shouldn't cause a problem. We strongly recomend not using 302s.
Brett,
Thanks for the clarification.

Its been 1 month since I did a re-direct my site to a new domain and it has not come back to the status as it was before. Anyway to speed this up. Google only took about 2 weeks to sort it out.
Thanks
