Improve your site's standing with new Webmaster tools

August 06, 2008, 01:35 PM by Bing | 8 Comments

Today we are bringing our Webmaster Tools out of beta and releasing several new features that help webmasters see how Live Search crawls and indexes your sites. As a website owner, you can use these tools to improve your results on Live Search when a someone is looking for your site. The new Webmaster tools give you more data about referring links, identify issues Live Search encountered when crawling your site, and help you improve the overall indexing of your site. For the full story about this release, see the Webmaster Center Blog.

You can check out the new tools at http://webmaster.live.com/. And for questions, be sure to visit the Live Search Webmaster forums.

Some really annoying passport bounces between pages using both Safari and Firefox3, but very cool!

Love the backlinks tool, definitely industry leading.

Not so much on the keyword data.  Google's webmaster tools for monitoring result ranking and % clickthrough are infinitely more useful.

I have no words on you guys. When I inputed liveside, whose domain is just liveside.net/www.liveside.net, the live search gave me the forum.liveside.net as the first link. When I inputed "livesino", whose domain is just livesino.net, it gives me a load of crap. When I inputed on10, it gave me www.onten.net, but not www.on10.net, still weird. When I inputed gseeker, whose domain name is www.gseeker.com, it also gave me a load of crap with Unrecognizable   characters. But google, your biggest competitor, got all the results right.

Won't you guys just link to the DNS Server and check if the keyword is just simply a domain name, Is that so hard for you guys? You guys are softies, I always view you guys as heroes, should not be so dummy!

I added live search to my site a couple of weeks ago. The site is on a server in Israel. However for some reason Bezeq International is blocking the use of the service. In fact even your site: search.live.com is blocked and redirected to

http://netexerror.bezeqint.net/

What's going on ?

Thanks

Fred
