Will Microsoft's version of Bing Shape for Maps keep up with the new versions of 3DVIA ? I have been using both products and have found the newer 3DVIA versions works far better. I have models in both sides of the house why not let us combine the content, their the same base program right I would love to be able to import my models into FSX. Or at least be able to export the models built in 3dvia to another program and have them work! A KML file should be a KML file not some special Microsoft KML file that only works within the Microsoft Bing Shape for Maps program. I would really love the product if it was a little more flexible in the import and export area. Hey FSX is Microsoft product why not let us have the freedom to create content and pull it into programs like FSX. ENTER VERSION 5 GPS tracking – SLOW and delayed. The blinking of the “dot” as it re-finds your vehicle location is quite annoying. Old version was very smooth when redrawing the map and the icon for the GPS location was pretty smooth and accurate. The removal of many features like Gas Prices seemed odd, but taking out the “Directions to a contact” feature is mind boggling. I use that feature constantly. Luckily, I had the .cab file for the previous release and was able to go to a previous version. This version is awful.
