Bing will be in Palm Springs for TEDActive February 9-13, 2010. The swanky, mountain-framed and pool-dappled Riviera Resort in Palm Springs is the backdrop for four days of gripping talks and engrossing TEDActive workshops. This event will explore how the next gen in tech, entertainment and design can be brought to bear on "What the World Needs Now ..." In this luxurious, brainpower-fueled environment, attendees will enjoy the live-hosted TED2010 program on crisp Sony monitors, connect with other curious and passionate souls in pre-conference outdoor adventures and campfire-hued meet-and-greets, and have the chance to even step up into the program spotlight during TEDYOU.
TEDActive is designed for the curious, creative, passionate -- for those who want to go beyond just watching TEDTalks to sharing experiences and participating in projects that might impact the world beyond. TEDActive provides a platform for energetic people to self-organize groups, to connect with each other and to start rewarding conversations around common interests.

Over the course of four days, from Feb. 9-12, the conference offers multiple activities and opportunities for attendees to experience “The Innovation Lounge.” Each day contains two hour-long conversation breaks and a 90-minute lunch break. “The Innovation Lounge” will be bustling during these periods, and some may choose to stay and watch the conference proceedings from this space. It will contain: Area for approximately 150 people to gather during breaks, seating for 30 people to relax and watch the conference proceedings on simulcast, a speakers gallery where bloggers and guests can use Bing to learn more about the speakers on the TED stage in real-time, and last but not least snacks and refreshments.
I enjoy those TED talks, hopefully this will be put up on YouTube for all to watch!
