CP
Just updated, Vista/IE8, zooming in 3D fast/painless. +love
Please enjoy the fruits of my labor while I collect my unemployment checks ;)
Now if only somebody could update the images of my home in the UK where the images are at least 5 years out of date.
Why did you guys decide to go to content every three months vs every month. This seems like a bad move.
I do love the world tour app that lets you choose a specific update and then view areas cocentrated on in that relase and I think its a hust postitive step.
Unfortanatly did not get any updates on my home/area in Buffalo, New york, USA. :(
I also had an issue to report with the world tour application, why if I change the release that I am viewing does it reask if I want to explore myself or take a tour? It should rememer my choice.
typhoon,
This wasn't a normal release, there was stuff on the backend that was updated along with a massive amount of oblique imagery in particular.
It's "Geelong" not "Geellong". I know, because I live there :P
Bing Maps!
So Great!
Just as Google Earth!
Nice Post!!
Coolllll Bing Maps!!!
There is a mistake in the list of spain. It's Burgos instead of Brugos.
what about india
Have a look at Leiden, Netherlands. The birdseye imagery is amazing as it is zoomed in to almost double the resolution (or the plane flew at half the altitude). Can't you start asking all the planes to fly that low? Take a look at this:

Amazing... but would like more :-D
Two type-Os fixed! Thanks for looking out for me.
Thanks for the update! I was wondering when we were going to see another release. It felt like too long since last time.
Also, I appreciate the full list here on your blog as well as the Bing Maps World Tour. Awesome stuff!
