Last week at Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona, Spain I sat in the overflow room watching Steve Ballmer and Joel Belfiori announce Windows Phone 7 Series – I tweeted many atweet via Twitter, so feel free to check out my tweets for more information there. It was standing room only and the 50+ people in the overflow room were applauding and cheering at the 50 inch plasma as the demos went off perfectly. As any good evangelist would do, I afterwards went in and interviewed one of the Program Managers on the Windows Phone team. Ian Todd was demoing at the Windows Phone booth all day, but took some time “back stage” to give me the full one on one context where Windows Phone and Bing Maps come together. Check out my video for the full details of Bing Maps on Windows Phone. I have one of these fancy Kodak Zi8 cameras which apparently won’t focus on the device screen very well, but you’ll get the gist.
Also, make sure you’re at MIX 2010 in Las Vegas next month for Windows Phone developer announcements. I’ll be there, so we can chat Bing Maps.

I've seen a video of the presentation, though releasing it for the holiday season is such a long wait, ideal it should've been released around June. A lot of people are anxious to try it out!
Would be nice to have it now. Come to MIX. If you're a developer you may be pleasantly surprised. :)
