Another huge Bing Maps imagery release and this month features our Enhanced Bird’s Eye going worldwide. We now have Enhanced Bird’s eye worldwide with more urban models and the ability to view locations from a re-projected perspective, from all 4 cardinal directions, across the globe. In total, we’re releasing 194,000 square kilometers of new and refreshed imagery. This includes high resolution 20cm aerial for Wellington, New Zealand and 60cm satellite updates for Australia, Mexico, Namibia, Russian Federation and South Africa.
Don’t forget, the Bing Maps World Tour is now a Map Application in Bing Maps so you can get all your imagery updates there.

Chris I want you to know that there is a big project in Northern Greece with Bing Maps Imagery. If you want details or you can help - email me
@ad709 - can you send me mail @ Chris.Pendleton@microsoft.com? Thanks.
Chris,
I'm a ESRI software user and I'm loving the Bing Maps integration with ArcGIS but some of my clients are noticing that the imagery is really out of date in certain locales. One such location is just on the outskirts of Calgary where the imagery is as much as three years out of date. Can you tell me why this is?
Thanks
Hi Chris,
is it allowed to use the Bing Maps tile server in a way by downloading the tile to a local cache and then using the images from a (commercial) offline application? We searched the Bing Maps website for licensing information and "terms of use" for this scenario but couldn't find unambiguous information.
Thanks,
Chris
Hi, I would like to know if Bing Maps will update the images on Brazil anytime soon.
For some years I would like to see Unaí city on Brazil with good images, but never happens. On DigitalGlobe we have a new image from 09/25/2010. Please update it on Bing Maps.
Wait an answer, thanks
