There are times I get to the end of the day and I am wondering where my day went. I am usually thinking this while looking at my “to do” list with nothing checked off and I am asking myself “how can I make this easier?” Well, the team at Bing has recognized this and is trying to make those everyday tasks easier to accomplish while giving you some time back.
Some of you have already seen the recipe pages we launched recently – certainly an action item on a lot of people’s list of things to do is figuring out what will you make for dinner. But if you are like me and are a disaster in the kitchen, an action item for you might be managing your portfolio. Not only is it something I have to do I actually enjoy researching investments specifically in US stocks and funds. Given the recent shock to our financial system we have seen more and more people interested in keeping track of what is happening with their money and with the stock market. Thus we developed an in-depth "stock and funds pages" which covers most US stocks and funds.
To see the stocks and funds you are interested in simply enter a ticker in the search box e.g MSFT. Note our "Instant Answer" on top which provides basic data about the firm. If you click on the "Investor Data" tab on the left you go into our finance page
The finance page gives you detailed information about key finance metrics of the firm. It also shows an easy to digest summary of the main analyst covering the stock. A personal favorite of mine are the lists on the left, which allow you to easily navigate to similar stocks or other leading stocks in the industry.
We cannot predict where the market will go but we can at least give you the information and tools to help you make a decision to buy or sell.

I know what you mean! Sometimes there's not enough time in a day. The investor data is pretty useful. I bought into MSFT when it was down @ $17 a share a year ago. I've watched it's amazing growth and now it's small setback the last couple weeks.
Is announcing the winner of the t-shirts on your priority list? I'm waiting for an email! I'm pretty sure my recipe is the winner :P

My only complaint is that when Bing first launched, a query such as 'msft aapl quote' would bring up an instant answer with a little chart comparing the stocks' performances. This was one of my favorite features, as it allowed me to get a quick glance at a variety of stocks. Any chance of this coming back?

Every little helps and certainly this is a faster way to check stocks. I think next Bing should get a dedicated finance channel, much like Bing Travel!
Great work!! A few suggestions though:
- The "See more at MSN Money, Options" link should point to the MSN stock page not the options page; you might also want to look at changing the other "see more" links
- Key events such as earnings calls that link with my Windows Live (or google calendar)- should be similar to Google finance
- Bing finance should help organize all the information about a company (like Bloomberg...Bing NEEDS a Bloomberg terminal to see how all the data is so available) - I'd love to see all SEC filings WELL ORGANIZED and all related patents and expirations (i.e. if I'm looking at Pfizer I want to know expiration of key drug patents)...I know this might be a bit much but if you're going to organize all the world's information...
