This week we unveiled a few updates to Bing shopping to help you do research and find what you’re looking for more quickly. You’ll notice that we’ve created a list of product categories on the left side of the homepage to help you start your search. Just click a category to drill down to other parts of our catalogue to find the products you are looking to buy. We know how much we all love to window shop, just think of this as the online equivalent!
After you find the product you’re shopping for, like the new Zune HD, we’ve summarized all the information you need such as where to buy, user reviews, cashback percentage, product specifications, all on a single page.
We’ve also beefed the reviews section so that you get the most relevant and recent opinions from other people to help you find the best product or read about a feature you care about. You can narrow down by filtering on star ratings or use our powerful “opinion scorecard” to find the information that relates specifically to a particular aspect of the product that interests you.
For a full demo check out Stefan walking us through some of his favorite features:
We hope this update will enhance your Bing shopping experience. Take a look and let us know what you think. As always your feedback is welcome and appreciated. We are working on a number of new features to help you explore and make better decisions while you’re shopping so stay tuned for more updates from the team.

Bing Shopping
Bing shopping is nice, but you guys could still definitely use some more work.
Like when I search for "Zune HD", the top TWO results are actually the SAME thing: Zune HD 16GB, though there is a variation on the name, and there's oddly a different number of stores selling either, and a different amount of reviews offered for both. Why are there separate data for the same thing? Why not consolidate those two?
I also saw a few results with Sony Walkman X Series, which makes no sense at all, scattered right on the first page of results! The Zune HD 32 wasn't even on the first page! So I think the search needs to be fixed a wee bit.
I would like to suggest if users of Bing Shopping can POST their own reviews. What if I am shopping and see a product, and I want to tell other users how much I love or hate it? I can't, unless I go to one of those sites that Bing checks for reviews, make an account there, and hope that it might have the possibility of showing up in Bing Shopping. Again, I hope to see a way for users to post reviews, and maybe an option of allowing users to answer directly towards a scorecard, indicating a happy/sad face (positive and negative reaction) and a comment about each category in the score card.
I also hope to see Bing Shopping as more of a one-stop shopping site like Amazon.com. I want to see more product images/videos as possible, link to the official webpage of the product, expert reviews from professional and semi-professional sites separated from user reviews, related items that we might be interested in, warranty service plan options, user discussion forums, add to wishlist, etc.
Like I said, I want to see more ability for Bing Shopping users to interact on the site with products and other users to make it more social. Not to mention making the site's product pages a real one-stop shopping hub to gather all the info. and research for you so you really don't have to go elsewhere to find more data.
I agree with quickboy above, bing shopping won't be entirely useable until they can collapse the like minded products better. Searching for even specific models such as "WinTV hvr 1600" will bring up a page of dozens of links for the same thing with different price variations within those links. Show the ONE with 22 competitive prices and have a "click here for more.." to hide the rest and make people compete to be on the main product page instead of flooding the serps with misnamed products/fake skus and crap like that.
This informing post is very interesting. Does Bing make wholesale ?
Great products in the list...
Thanks

"or use our powerful “opinion scorecard”"
that's a great idea, very usefull
On Sunday April 11 I saw my traffic from Bing Product Search (cashback) spike up 400%. :) I even went and verified all the different hits were coming unique source. For the first time Bing brought in more visitors then Google Products which is amazing and for a Sunday even more amazing.
Sadly today I saw my Bing levels drop back to normal. Anyone else had similar experience?
can Bing shopping make a big change?
Yes, I think Bing shopping is on the way to make a big positive change.
Khova, you need to analyse what led to that spike, was it something you did? then you need to do more of that!
Since I have no response from emails direct to MS. Please stop your mass collection of price history and popular product data from camelcamelcamel.com Someone as MS and we guess on bing shopping is running a perl script to collect mass data from our site. the script runs up our bandwidth by 5megs sec when tide**.microsoft.com hits us. You could at least respect robots.txt
It sucks but we are going to ban all the MS campus hosts from accessing our site SORRY. We are fine with your crawling but not that mass collection you have been doing.
Summer is here which means that for a lot of you holiday travel planning is well on its way. Bing offers
