After a long day of sightseeing in the summer heat, it’s no wonder that tourists look forward to diving into a cool and refreshing swimming pool. But why settle for a standard pool like you’ll find in so many chain hotels? Imagine instead an open-air pool, set high atop an Italian coastal town, flanked by Roman ruins.
Sounds like a fantasy, right? Well, this is one fantasy that can become reality. In a new Bing Travel photo gallery from Budget Travel, you’ll see this very pool, the one at the Hotel Caruso in the Amalfi Coast town of Ravello.
It’s just one of 10 of the world’s most amazing hotel pools. Other pools worth fantasizing about: a beachfront saltwater pool in Chile that extends two-thirds of a mile, where you can rent small sailboats; or, the pool complex at the Golden Nugget Hotel in Las Vegas, where a 200,000-gallon shark tank is just one of the many features.
Do you look for a pool when you’re choosing a hotel? What are some of your favorites? And would you book one of these hotels based on its pool alone? Share your thoughts and experiences in the comments section.
Yes I do. Some of my fav's are in Daytona Beach
I hate pools
hotels with swimming pools make it more easier is the weather isnt good.
The Yacht and Beach Club at Disneyworld have the best pool I have used Stormalong Bay. It has a large pirate slide ,a whirlpool(not a hot tub), sinking sands and a large sand kids area a lazy river and more.

Definitely the Yacht and Beach Club Pool in Disney World!!!
The pool at the Grand Arizona Hotel is good too. It has 3 huge slides, a lazy river, a tide pool, and more. There are many other pools spotted around the hotels grounds as well.
The Fountainebleu Miami Beach and Paradise Island in the Bahamas. Nice pools!
Thanks for all that info you guys have given. Nice to know bc that's important to us when booking.
thats because blacks dont like the water
Fontainebleau Miami Beach? Don't dare be with a good looking American girl when crossing the deck looking for a deck chair. You will get many rude catcalls and comments enough to embarrass both of you!
the Kalahari in wisconsin dells is awsome. a hotel with an indoor and outdoor waterpark. it was our best vacation ever. hope to return there again someday.
The Grand Wailea in Maui, Hawaii -- caves, slides, lazy river, pools, tarzan rope and water elevator
This all sounds like a great time.
