but no directory like dmoz or yahoo.

That doesn't mean directory listing. It means when you use Bing Local to search for anything within a locale, the local businesses there that are listed in Bing Local will populate the SERPs.

Bing is a search engine but if your website has a very high ranking you can tell the support about it.

Bing has no special directory, if you want to list in bing then incorporate your keywords in domain name, don't do keyword stuffing in content & metas..

There is no need of making hue and cry about Bing directory because if it is there, you will not going to get benefitted from it. So just forget about it and try hard to get some valubale linkbacks for your website. I think most of the members have formed a conclusion that Bing should have a directory like that of Yahoo directory and Dmoz.
