I believe people use bing forums for getting answer of their questions and for back link. Usually for back links.

It makes sense to visit a Webmaster forum for SEO advice, especially since this is the official forum for one of the major search engines. You would think it would be easier to get an accurate response about how Bing manages it's rankings here.
I think that it is true to some degree that people post here for the backlinks. The majority of the threads(or at least a solid handful) are full of generic responses that add nothing to the topic at hand. Most of the time the thread starters don't even return. So yeah a lot are just here for the backlinks. A do follow link on Bings very own forum is very tempting it appears.

People use this forum with mixed agendas. Some actually come to get help and answers, and others use it to primarily get backlinks and offer no input.

The primary reason to use the Bing or any forums should be learning, sharing and contribution of knowledge only. But unfortunately, it is a fact that many guys come here to get back-links only. There contribution is very low or NULL only.

Off course we get back links for forums, but ones if we misuse any forums then naturally your user will be banned from the forums. So forum is the place where we can share our questions and get replies. Don't think that forum is for only back links.

Most members are probably using the forum mainly for the backlinks from Bing. I've only been here for about a half hour and don't think I've seen a post without a link in it or the poster's signature.

*sigh* I think that this forum is in need of some moderators. I think links in for signatures are fine but it should only be allowed to remain if your posts are worthwhile contributions to the discussion. Even this thread is slowly being filled with useless posts.
It seems that a lot of indian(they seem to be the most dominant) SEO services are using this site for clients to build links. Essentially it is poorly disguised spam. Spam should not be present on the Bing forums of all places.
A do follow link on Bings forums should be seen as good will from the search engine, it should not be abused.
I see a lot of nonsense posts. The Bing Community forum is a good source of back links but I see others that fail to provide value on their discussions.
They just try to post as many as they can doing "thank you" posts.

If you ask me, Bing is a very good forum for getting quality answers, but the moderation should be a little bit powerful to avoid spammers. Some of the users in this forum and helping out much efficiently to avoid spamming and spammers. Hats off to them...
