Assist with troubleshooting to alleviate tooling and fixture problems. Coordinate with Purchasing for the procurement of materials for the tooling, jigs and fixtures. Support corporate continuous improvement by identifying, developing and implementing cost reduction and tooling improvement concepts. Minimum Qualification BS degree in engineering and/or equivalent experience plus appropriate continuous training. Leadership experience, Leading projects, managing projects, etc. Experience: 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering position or equivalent. Experience leading mid to large size manufacturing projects. Skilled in the use of CAD software (Solidworks experience preferred), part development, strip layout and utilize best practices in tooling and process design. Experience loading BOM’s and Routings into an ERP system. Experience working at a metal fabrication company. A track record of successfully improving manufacturing process and reducing manufacturing costs.
