location in 1979, Calif & Gladys Wood hams landscaped and added the Victorian Gardens. The pepper tree, elderberry tree and several rose bushes are original items planted in approximately 1900. The house shares the property with another Historic home built in 1858 which now houses an art cooperative, The Gallery.

- 2/3/2013The swedish oatmeal pancakes with lingonberries & the company's coming poached egg dish were excellent. Alana's is situated in one of the oldest homes in Redwood City. It's Victorian style and very quaint. It's also adjacent to a co-op art gallery; it was nice to be able to hang out there while we were waiting for our table. Read full review

Alana's is cute, homey, and quaint We reserved a portion of the restaurant (26 ladies) and Alana's did a great job serving us. Prices are reasonable, food was good and service was nice. - 1/22/2013I have been going to Alana's since they first opened on burlingame ave, and it has always been a special place. The food is healthy, fresh, creative, down home, and delicious.
