But lately, the quality have slipped. The chirashi comes with really inferior bits of fishes, the specials board doesn't have anything interesting, and even their udon noodles -- of which I know there are a few fans -- have failed to satisfy. Location can be deceiving (strip mall deep in Foster City) but the ambiance is warm and traditional Japanese. Victor (owner) and his longtime staff are always super friendly and accomodating.
