Spencer & Helene Marshall have combined their talents to create their thriving artisanal S.F. Bay Area based Honey company. Spencer is the beekeeper and Helene runs the business or as Dave, on Eye on the Bay said, Spencer is "The Beekeeper" & Helene is "The Bookkeeper." Spencer has a passion Morefor working with Bees and Dirt. He comes from generations of farmers and he is most at home when his body and soul are surrounded by happy bees. Helene is a city girl, born and raised in San Francisco. However there is country in her blood too. She has a degree in art from UC Buzzerkely. Prior to meeting Spencer, she owned and operated her own small art-based business selling her designs nationally. Spencer was doing carpentry and remodeling for a living when they met. He was keeping bees as a sideline and he had 10,000 lbs. of honey stored in drums at his parents ranch. Helene designed a label for him and began marketing the honey. It has been a sweet adventure that was meant to bee.
