Description

Flanagan’s “Irish-American” Pub and “Downstairs” dining room, has been a favorite in Shillington, as well as Berks County, since 1982.Chris Flanagan took over the establishment from his father and mother, Bill and Marilyn in 1996. Since then, Chris has expanded the menu substantially and in turn added the “Downstairs” dining Moreroom in the fall of 1998. This “cozy” room offers alternative, away from the Pub environment.Flanagan’s menu offers it’s customers a variety of dishes sure to please everyone. The menu includes a nice selection of steaks, seafood, pasta, soups & salads, sandwiches and the “BEST & BIGGEST WINGS IN TOWN” or in Berks County for that matter.

They are scarce where I live now. But I met some friends from high school here for drinks and dinner. Upstairs there is a big square bar with a few tables scattered around. We were … Read full review
  • Rating: 4.0 out of 5"by Lyn W. at Yelp User Review8/14/2011I went here for the first time. I came into the side entrance into the dinning area. The dinning area was very plain and neat without clutter. There was a lot of light so there's not much of an ambience. I ordered the broiled seafood combination. It was perfectly cooked. The seafood was fresh and tasty. It was not … Read full review
  • Rating: 4.0 out of 5"by MA Y. at Yelp User Review8/7/2011As previous reviewer stated, the food is a step about regular bar fare. We had 2 appetizers (tuna/crab egg rolls and chicken enchillada egg rolls), both were really good. I had the pork bruschettta which was also good, but I ended up with the fried version instead of the requested sauteed. My husband had a duck cheesesteak that he enjoyed very much. We would definitely go back. Read full review
