Description

In the early 1990s Bill Khanna had the vision of bringing high quality Moghul cuisine to the Seattle metropolitan area. He opened three Chutney’s restaurants in Seattle: in lower Queen Anne near the Seattle Center, on Capital Hill, and in Wallingford. He consistently attracted the highest quality chefs and wait Morestaff to his restaurants. All the Chutneys restaurants were reviewed by the key Pacific Northwest’s dining critics. Each one received accolades for their authentic menus, fine preparations, and extensive wine lists. After developing each restaurant, he sold the operations to people that could carry on the tradition of gracious serving of fine Indian cuisine.
