Description
In the kitchen they press their own coconut milk and import many ingredients directly from Thailand. Then they go a step beyond and present the dishes in authentic Thai vessels. Even walking up to the restaurant is a step into Thailand as you take in the beautiful exterior decorated as an ornate structure called a Naga. On the first floor you have a bar draped in a mix of amazingly deep reds and exotic purples. Stepping up stairs you will notice the antique walls which have been constructed from an 80 year old teak home that the original owners found while traveling in Thailand.

- 2/1/2013Went here twice recently and typically ordered the exact same thing. Both times were excellent. A few years back there was some excellent jazz featuring Hans Teuber, a world … Read full review
- 1/31/2013I seriously didn't understand Thai food until I came here. It is a little pricier than an average hole-in-the-wall Thai place, and that's just fine for me. The portions … Read full review

My favorite cuisines are Thai, Indian, Italian, French, Chinese, Malaysian, Singaporean, Japanese, Vietnamese, Mexican, and also other types of food. May Thai in Wallingford can feel like an Asian version of a royal palace with … Read full review
- 1/20/2013I will start off by saying I hate thai food in general. However, the skewers here were excellent and the happy hour prices on drinks were also quite reasonable. We ended up ordering way too much food, but somehow it was all eaten. If you are in the area for happy hour and enjoy thai food this is the place for you, and if you are like me and detest thai food, this might still be worth a shot. Read full review
- 1/10/2013"Sweet Corn and Tofu" may not exactly sound like the kind of thing that will make everyone at the table jealous, but that's what happened when my boyfriend and his sister and I came here for dinner. The menu is pretty extensive, so it was difficult to settle on something, but when I rolled the dice and … Read full review
