Barolo Ristorante, located in the heart of downtown Seattle, offers a mix of timeless, old-world northern Italian dishes crafted with a contemporary presentation, using quality natural and organic products and ingredients, many from the Pacific Northwest. The wine list at Barolo includes more than 400 notable labels and varietals from Morearound the world including Italy, California, Washington, Oregon and France. The restaurant also hosts a lively bar offering classic and specialty cocktails, over 40 kinds of grappas and late night dining. Set within a modern, urban building, Barolo’s smart Italian style is represented by lush textures, fabrics and ornamental design trends, merged with warm and comfortable accessories like hanging glass chandeliers over a large communal table, dark wood finishes, interesting interior lighting, and an abundance of flickering candlelight.

Everything is delicious and the service and food is consistent. It makes me want to check out their regular dinner service. Good job Barolo! Read full review

  • Rating: 5.0 out of 5"by S L. at Yelp User Review1/30/2013My friend and I stumbled into this place on a Friday night with no reservation, but the maitre d' found us a table anyways. I tried the tortelloni piemontese and spaghetti con polpa di granchio, and both were great. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce on both were rich and delicious. I'll try HH next time, but the food and service is a must here! Read full review
  • Rating: 4.0 out of 5"by Brad Y. at Yelp User Review1/29/2013I love this place for happy hour. Fourteen dollar bottles of wine. Half priced appetizers and entrees. However, if you are going for happy hour, go early or be prepared to wait. The happy hour prices and menu are only available at the bar--space is limited. I recommend the veal carpaccio, the tuna tartare and the rigatoni. Read full review
