Sunnydale, The " cabins " at Hickory Knob are indeed quite close to the lake but are not lakeview per se. Also, the cabins were not individual structures similar to those I have stayed in at other facilities; they were more akin to a rustic motel. That being said however, I was very satisfied with the accommodations. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the Gillebeau House.

I am not sure about the cabins. We stayed in the lodge. The room we stayed in had a mini fridge and small coffee maker, but no microwave.
