As far as I know they don't have overnight camping but they do have picnic areas and I'd assume that you can pitch a day tent pavilion. You might want to look into nearby Oleta River State Park for overnight camping,if available that could be a good option. For any other overnight camping you'll probably have to go outside of the urban areas, places like Everglades National Park or Larry and Penny Thompson Park would be great options! And I'll also say that South Florida's winter/dry season would be an excellent time for outdoor living, there's little humidity and very agreeable temperatures, plus being high season hotel rates go sky high so camping would be much better for those on a tight budget! Happy Travels!!!

Parking used to be free until a few months ago when we noticed the main entrance blocked for construction. Now you pay everywhere you park by app just like on every public parking in the county. Metro Police is omnipresent to check. We were shocked.
Q:
How much does it cost to enter the park?
A:
For a car $7.00 but only on weekends and holidays, during the week Mon. - Fri. It is free. I think an SUV or van costs a little more.
