Q:
Does the ritz have beach amenities for their guests? Umbrellas? Lounge chairs? Cabanas?
A:
We didn't stay there but the hotel is quite high above the beach and has a path down to the beach. I didn't see any cabanas or beach chairs that would be from a hotel.
Q:
What is water temperature.
A:
Right now the water is about 68 degrees which is almost as warm as it will get.

Hi. When we were at the beach, there was a dad playing with his toddler son that my wife found entertaining and took several photos of him. So, yes to your question. Fairly large beach in terms of length, not overly deep in terms of reaching the water, but certainly deep enough for toddlers. There is another beach are easy walking distance on a path right next to the beach that is more shallow (less sand depth to water). Not sure about crowds, as when we were there it was fairly empty. But, large parking lot would indicate it can handle a lot of people. I think I can send you some pictures of where we were, if you are interested. I tried to type in my email, but for some reason it isn't letting me. Phone is 254-722-0893. I can text some photos.
Q:
Where do you park to access the beach?
A:
There is a pay to park parking lot at the top of the hill by the beach and a steep walk down. Or you can pay $1 each to take a golf cart shuttle ride down to the beach with your chairs …
