I can only tour the first floor due to not being able to climb stairs, while my husband can tour the whole house...is it OK that I stay only to the first floor on the tour and then go into the gift shop?

The staff at the House Museum are very accommodating. I am sure that they will work out a plan for you. The main florr is the best area of the house to visit
