The area is dead and a bit dodgy, the only good part is that is closed to Greenwich. Period. Other than that, not much to do in Island Gardens, there isn't even one pub. Full review by Mutzi89

We visited gardens while in Greenwich for the day via Thames cruise. Very impressed by cleanliness of gardens situated at entrance to Thames foot tunnel which is also worth a visit. Full review by ela03
