There is plenty of street parking close to the museum and we did not have to feed a meter when we visited on a weekend. There is a lot under construction nearby which might impact parking availability on weekdays depending on trucks coming and going onto the site. The museum is also close to the beautiful Bradenton riverfront, so there is additional parking there, too. There is a sheriff's office close to the museum which enhances a feeling of safety.
