Obituary: Culp, Danny Dervin

Age 76

CULP, Danny Dervin Danny Dervin Culp went to his eternal resting place on February 27, 2015.

Dan was born on February 16, 1939 and was the oldest of eight children.

After graduating from Riverside High School, he married his high school sweetheart Cora “Mae” Nicholson.

He worked as a welder for American Machine Works, and James J. Williams where he retired.

Dan and Mae stayed in the Elk-Chattaroy area and raised four children.

He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 56 years, Mae Culp, his children: Mike Culp (Risa), Pam Pardo (Dan), Kim Jasper (Tim), and Traci Osborne (Joe); six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; five siblings: (Diana Griffith, Bud Culp, Don Culp, Judy White, and June Rognerud); and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Over the years he loved spending time camping, riding and racing motorcycles, water skiing, snowmobiling, and most recently, taking trips to Reno with Mae.

Dan was always happiest when all of his kids were around him.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Chattaroy Community Church, 3711 E. Chattaroy Rd, Chattaroy, WA, on Monday, March 9th at 1:00 p.m.

The family asks that memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, be made to Chattaroy Community Church for their outreach ministries, P.O.
