Richard
Maynard Marcks, an international marketing expert whose career included executive positions at Scott Paper Company, Carnation
International, Nestle and Hershey Foods, died Friday.
At Nestle, his group developed the campaign to sell DECAF coffee worldwide. In 1976, he became vice president for Hershey International and later served as president and CEO 13 years.
In 1996, Marcks designed and implement an ethical leadership program called LEAD now taught at more than 200 colleges. He appreciated this opportunity to influence the ethical leadership skills of many of our country's future leaders.
