Fargo Park District offers open swimming on weekends through March at the Fargo South High School indoor pool. Open swimming is Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. and adult and family swim is Saturdays from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Cost $2.50 for adults, $1.50 for youth and $5 for family.

18--Thief River Falls, Minn.: The 18th Annual TRF Pepsi Triathlon begins at Franklin Middle School pool at 9 a.m. Race consists of a 500-yard swim, 12-mile bike and 3-mile run. Entries available at the Franklin Pool and the Dakota Clinic Regional Health, Surgery and Orthopedic Center. Entry fee is $15 and all participants who are not USA Triathlon members will need to purchase a one-day license for an additional $7. A relay divison is also available for 2 or 3 person teams with a $30 cost.
