This year is shaping up to be a record year for recalls, and automakers are showing no signs of slowing down before the end of the year.

Ford, Lincoln, and Ram Trucks have recalled almost 600,000 crossovers and trucks for potential fire hazards. The recalls include 204,448 Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX crossovers model years 2007-2008 that have fuel tank reinforcement brackets that could become corroded, resulting in a fuel leak and possibly fire.

The recalls also include 381,876 Ram trucks built from 2010-2014, equipped with Cummins diesel engines. These particular trucks have a defect that could cause fuel-heater housings to overheat and fuel to leak.

The Ram models recalled include 2500 and 3500 pickups, as well as 4500 and 5500 chassis cabs.
