KRQE News 13 reported about an Albuquerque couple who were waiting for their $8,000 federal tax and on Thursday, they had the money in hand.
Terry Mullan used H&R Block to file a return. Mullan has been waiting for his $8,200 federal return since February. Mullan said H&R Block deposited the money in the wrong bank account.
KRQE News 13 reporter Kim Holland exposed their story and on Thursday, H&R Block gave the couple their money.
