First Toronto Denny's restaurant now open for business

Denny's is now open in Toronto meaning you no longer need to head to the Rogers Centre when looking for a grand slam (sorry). Yes, the ubiquitous American chain has finally opened its long under construction location near the corner of Bay and Dundas. Like the other restaurants in the chain, it's open 24 hours and sports a menu of breakfast staples as well as diner-type fare for lunch and dinner.

The Toronto restaurant at 121 Dundas West isn't a first for the province. Denny's is already in Brampton, Mississauga, Oakville plus various small towns but is finally ready to give the likes of Sunset Grill a run for their money. Locals not nostalgic for memories of meals along US interstates may be better off at one of our many fine diners, 24 hour restaurants or all day breakfast spots.
