Houston oil field equipment maker Cameron International said Thursday it has bumped executive Scott Rowe up to the role of president and chief operating officer, the top lieutenant to CEO Jack Moore.

Rowe, who has worked for Cameron for 12 years, most recently was CEO of OneSubsea, a joint venture of Cameron and Schlumberger that makes subsea oil equipment for deep-water drilling and production. The two oil field companies formed the joint venture in 2012.

Mike Garding, president of Cameron's completions business, will takeover as CEO of OneSubsea.
