The Jackson Zoo family is getting bigger.Two red panda cubs were born June 12, zoo officials announced Tuesday. The cubs haven’t been named yet, but they are the first offspring for the red panda parents.The family will soon move into the new red panda exhibit, which was unveiled this week. It was made possible by donations from sponsors, zoo officials said.“I feel great about it. I hope we are able to do more of this. I hope other companies are able to do more of this,” Nucor Steel Vice President Jim Sheble said. “I am very impressed and proud of our zoo. It needs a little bit of work, but this is how you do it.”The red pandas will move into the new exhibit by the end of July.
