Patient Survey Boom Drives Expansion for HealthStream

In Nashville, Tennessee, workforce development and research / patient experience solutions provider HealthStream, Inc. is to build a new Patient Interview Center, creating around 200 new jobs over the next few years.

The new c.22,000 square foot office will form a state-of-the-art home for telephone staff conducting patient satisfaction interviews on behalf of healthcare providers - mostly carried out in fulfilment of government mandated HCAHPS reporting requirements. HealthStream's existing interview center is in Laurel, Maryland and completed over 1.5 million patient interviews last year alone. The company says its patient experience solutions are driving its expansion, themselves fuelled both by new customers and the rapid growth of existing clients.

Other research services covering healthcare organizations' employee engagement and satisfaction levels, physician alignment and community perceptions are currently located in the Company's corporate office in Cummins Station in Nashville, and will now be moved to the new location.
