Washington Trust recently announced that Rick Tjader of Barrington, R.I. has been appointed Senior Vice President, Director of Project Management. Tjader is responsible for all aspects of technology project management including organizational project planning, budgeting and project methodology. In addition, Tjader plays an integral role in technology financial and process improvement.

Tjader has more than thirty years of finance experience, most recently serving as Vice President of Finance Change Management for State Street Corporation in Boston, MA. A graduate of Northwestern University, Tjader has a Master of Business Administration in Finance. He also has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Lafayette College.
