A man who absconded from a jail in Suffolk has handed himself in, police have said.

Luke Bruce, 29 - who is serving a sentence for causing grievous bodily harm with intent, assault and burglary - fled Hollesley Bay, near Woodbridge, on Friday evening.

He went to a police station in Cambridgeshire on Sunday.

More than 30 prisoners have absconded from the category D facility in the past two years.
