Urban Outfitters has pushed the Hillary Clinton nutcracker back in the public eye.

The novelty item, which first raised eyebrows during the 2008 election cycle, is exactly what it sounds like — a nutcracker with “stainless steel thighs” that “cracks (the) toughest nut” and is shaped like Clinton, complete with a pantsuit.

“Is America ready for this nutcracker?” the box reads.

Urban Outfitters is selling the political gag gift for $60.

The original Hillary nutcracker was manufactured by Eagleview USA, Inc. along with a corkscrew Bill product shaped like her husband. The homepage for Hillarynutcracker.com says the “website has temporarily closed.”

“We expect to re-open with the 2016 model upon the official announcement of her next Presidential campaign,” it reads.

The Urban Outfitters website boasts that the Hillary nutcracker is a “deadstock collector’s item is only available in a limited supply.”

“They don’t make ’em like this anymore,” the product description reads.

Some six years after the product first made the rounds, many people still don’t think it’s a crackerjack of a gag gift.

Cosmopolitan called it “an incredibly sexist gift,” while Vox said the $60 price tag “seems like $54.05 too much for something you might find in a very, very sexist Happy Meal.”

“I guess @UrbanOutfitters wanted to get a head start on 2016 sexism. Because TRENDY,” Guardian columnist Jessica Valenti tweeted Tuesday.

This is far from the first time Urban Outfitter has sparked controversy. In September, the retailer was slammed for selling a one-of-a-kind “vintage” red Kent State sweatshirt that looked like it was splattered with blood stains.

Urban Outfitters later apologized, saying “it was never our intention to allude to the tragic events that took place at Kent State in 1970 and we are extremely saddened that this item was perceived as such.”
